Alexander Hamilton Society Advisory Board Member Ambassador John Bolton Appointed National Security Advisor.

Washington, D.C. (April 9, 2018) — The Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) congratulates Advisory Board member Ambassador John Bolton on his recent appointment as President Donald Trump’s third national security advisor. With nearly two decades of government service, first at the Department of Justice and then the Department of State, Ambassador Bolton is an experienced, able, hard-working, and clear-eyed intellectual who will bring all of those needed qualities to the position at a moment of considerable upheaval in the world.

“We commend Ambassador Bolton for serving our country as National Security Advisor,” said AHS Executive Director Gabriel Scheinmann. “Ambassador Bolton was an early member of the AHS Advisory Board and our students enjoyed hearing and learning from him when he traveled to their campuses. We also applaud General H.R. McMaster, a scholar and warrior who has spoken with many AHS students in the past, for his more than three decades of exemplary service and numerous commendations.”
