Now Hiring a Professional Programs Assistant

The Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) is seeking to hire a full-time Professional Programs Assistant to support its alumni network and career services portfolio. Those committed to AHS’s mission and principles and approaching their work with an entrepreneurial spirit will find working at AHS an exciting and rewarding opportunity. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate alumni programming including reading groups, war games, and social events;

  • Curate the Alumni Newsletter and Job Bulletin weekly communications for students and alumni;

  • Build relationships with alumni of campus chapters and the Security and Strategy Seminar (SSS);

  • Supply career development resources to students and alumni, including facilitating one-on-one career meetings and flagging open positions;

  • Oversee and run the annual Hamilton National Fellowship Mentorship program and Student Leadership Conference Career Fair;

  • Track and standardize alumni information using a CRM and produce informational one-pagers;

  • Assist in staffing one SSS track.

Requirements 

  • A bachelor’s degree;

  • A strong understanding of and commitment to AHS’s mission and principles. Being an AHS alumnus is a plus and graduates from the class of 2025 are especially encouraged to apply;

  • Outstanding communication, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills;

  • Exceptional planning skills with strong attention to detail;

  • Ability to problem solve and manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines;

  • Entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm;

  • Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
