Valerian Sikhuashvili

Valerian Sikhuashvili is the Program Director at the Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS). Prior to joining the AHS staff, he worked as a Research Associate and Academic Coordinator at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). While there, he conducted research on the political and security implications of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) for a forthcoming book and put together seminar series and multi-day residencies for mid-career professionals in SAIS’ Global Policy Program. From 2012-2015, he was Special Assistant to the President of the Academy of Political Science. Valerian received his M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and his B.A. from Columbia University.
