Reagan National Defense Forum

In an exclusive partnership with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, AHS sponsors a delegation of chapter officers to attend the Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF), the nation’s premier gathering of defense professionals, held at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. This is a unique opportunity for Hamilton students to not only hear from, but also network with Secretaries of Defense, Directors of CIA, Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commanders, and industry executives. The 2019 RNDF will be held from December 6th and 7th, beginning with an opening reception prior to a day of policy panels. Click here to view the 2019 Agenda.

All current chapter officers are eligible to apply to attend the 2019 RNDF as part of the AHS delegation. Reach out to Eamonn Bellin at eamonn@hamsoc.org with questions or for additional information.

The opportunity to learn about national security from those who are leading the American defense effort—whether asking H.R. McMaster his views on future U.S. defense capabilities or hearing Secretary Heather Wilson discuss the state of the U.S. Air Force—was truly unique.
— Suzette Kane, Georgetown University
The Reagan National Defense Forum was without a doubt the greatest event that I have ever attended. It provided me with my first exposure into the world of defense, exposing me to key issues and allowing me to meet prominent leaders personally. Attending the RNDF propelled me into the defense and national security community, jumpstarting my career in this field.
— Elliot Seckler, Johns Hopkins University
